Interesting facts about Cook Forest State Park.
Cook Forest State Park encompasses over 7000 acres of vacation wonderland. During the summer season Park

Canoing, tubing and fishing are popular river activities. Northern pike, small mouth bass, walleye, trout and all species of
pan fish are abundant in the river.  Scenic views of the area abound. Seneca Point Overlook offers a breathtaking view of
the Clarion River Valley. The adventuresome can climb 70 feet to the top of the old #9 Fire tower for an impressive

Punxsutawney     Punxsutawney is one of the most famous small towns in America thanks to a furry little guy named
Punxsutawney Phil. Every year on Groundhog Day (February 2), thousands of people make the trek to Gobbler's Knob to
hear Punxsutawney Phil's prediction for the length of winter. If he sees his shadow when he emerges from his burrow
there will be six more weeks of winter weather; no shadow foretells an early spring. For more information about the
legend of Punxsutawney Phil, visit the official web site of the Groundhog Club (Phil's caretakers)
